My name is Tonya Gastineau. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, supervised by Allison Hunter, LPC-S, #70901. I aim to build strong relationships with clients and better understand their strengths as well as motivations. If you want a safe space to vent, process and/or need assistance with a specific symptom or problem, I will welcome you without judgment. We can set goals to help you move forward to achieve your goals. I primarily utilize cognitive behavior therapy but strive to meet the needs of each of my clients. This approach can help clients experiencing stress related to school, career, family, or personal problems, as well as depression. We will work together to reinforce your strengths and build on your support. My background includes substitute teaching, working with youth in various aspects of my church and homeschooling for several years. My variety of experiences has helped me build an awareness and appreciation for each of my clients' unique backgrounds. I am interested in participating in workshops, speaking engagements, webinars and podcasts.
